74. In dominica prima mensis Augusti ponimus Salomonem usque in Kalendas Septembris, et canimus “In principio.” In Kalendis Septembris legimus Iob duobus ebdomadibus et canimus “Si bona.” In tertia septimana eiusdem mensis legimus Tobiam et canimus “Peto Domine.” In quarta septimana ponimus Iudith, Hester, et Ezdra, et canimus “Tribulationes” et cetera.

In the first Sunday of the month of August until the Kalends of September we assign Solomon, and we sing “In the beginning.” In the Kalends of September we read Job for two weeks and sing “If good things.” In the third week of the same month we read Tobit and sing “I beg, O Lord.” To the fourth week we assign Judith, Esther, and Esdras and sing “The Tribulations” and the rest.
